What's the difference between the new patient and the existing patient in cloudPital?

• A new patient is one who has not received any professional services from the physician/qualified health care professional or another physician/qualified health care professional of the exact same specialty and subspecialty who belongs to the same group practice, within the past three years. 

• Existing patients are different as there are clinical notes and previous histories maintained in the system. Whereas a new patient file needs to be created first. Patients can be created while requesting an appointment or in the client section. A quick add button is provided above the patient field.
